USTFCCCA Communications director Tom Lewis, the former track team manager at Hardin-Central High School and Sports Information Director for the University of Missouri Track and Field program has put together a Championships Info Guide with everything you could need.

The National Junior College Championships are in the Books but the NAIA, NCAA DII & DIII and NCAA DI First Round Championships are under way. Good luck to all participants. We'll have a recap next week.

Interview with St. Josephs High School Krista Menghini. The volleyball, cross country and track standout has signed with Southern Illinois to play volleyball but expects nothing will be able to keep her from continue running.

Interview with Ladue senior Drew Padgett. He's signed with Washington University in St. Louis and has already accomplished a lot in just a few years. He's only been running a few years and is looking to break the Ladue school record of 4:13 for the 1600m this year.

Nerinx Hall's Collen Quigley and Peyton Chaney: Dreaming of State Titles and Trips to NYC

Nerinx Hall High School, Webster Groves, Missouri

Nerinx Hall High School's duo of Peyton Chaney and Colleen Quigley claimed Kansas Relays titles in the 100 meters and 1600 meters, winning a leg of the Adidas Golden Stripes tour, allowing them a chance to claim a spot in the Dream High School 100 and Mile events at the Adidas Grand Prix Meet in New York City in June. Both will need to bring down their times to earn free trips to the Big Apple but they're definitely capable. I sat down with them at Nerinx Hall in Webster Groves recently to discuss their seasons, careers, and possible trips to NYC. I also interviewed Collen with her father and Coach Gaylerd Quigley. They enjoy a relationship few get to experience. Chaney is a junior who runs the 100, 200, and 400 while Quigley is a senior who's best at the 1600 and 3200. Quigley will compete for Florida State University next year, but before that she and Chaney will try their best to earn a state track and field trophy for Nerinx Hall.
